Description
This design of the desert hopper is of one appealing to the conventional and not making it so derivative, being basically a snail of common morphology that still depends on its only foot to move, however, with adaptations that make it different from many other snails. This Desert Hopper is pretty much a slow herbivore of small size (15 centimeters), but unlike any other snail, the soft body of this has been covered in a scaly skin to preserve liquids, in addition to a very interesting method of movement, the jump.
Thanks to the use of its modified paddle-shaped operculum as well the muscles of the tail, are able to launch themselves through the air and travel distances of several meters, landing on the ground, repeating this process if necessary. They do not need to worry about predators except for some arthropods, in this far future, terrestrial tetrapods are extinct and with the only vertebrates still being limited to humid areas.

Definitely my favorite redesign of yours. This creature really needed one!

Have you watched the pseudo-documentary "The Future Is Wild"? They have a similar creature there, one with literally a single foot it balances on, shell stuck out towards the rear like a T. rex's tail.
Lovely textures on that snail skin, btw

It's a re-design of that animal.

That's one weird looking snail. And I like it! Nice drawing on it! Also this adaptation sounds interesting.

In italian it’s called “SaltaBecco”, translated word for word “Jump Beak”...
