The concept is a dragon designed around the Fibonacci spiral with the Golden Ratio. Those are mathematical and geometric concepts that can be kind of confusing or complicated for people who aren’t inclined to that sort of thinking, so I won’t weigh you down with the specifics, but what it boils down to is that designer and artists can and do use them to make their work more visually appealing. The guide lines in there are all the ones I actually used when drawing out the design to line up all the aspects of the dragon in ways that are nicer to look at. I’ve actually seen this sort of piece, where the spiral and guides are prominent in the work to emphasize that the artist used it, but I haven’t seen it done with a dragon before, and if there is anyone ready and willing to have a dragon version of everything it is me.
If the Golden Ratio or Fibonacci spiral is something you haven’t heard about before but are curious about then feel free to ask me about it, or you could just look on Google or Wikipedia or wherever. The Golden Ratio is as old as the ancient Greeks, and Fibonacci’s work has been around a while too, so there’s plenty of info out there. I recommend though to start with the Golden Ratio if you’re coming at it from an art perspective, and Fibonacci if you’re coming at it from a science perspective.
