Description
This is a Sprite of my character, Darrel Victor Ancalagon, in the CastleVania style, shared by "Rondo of Blood/Vampire's Kiss/Dracula X", "Order of Ecclesia", "Dawn of Sorrow", and, of course, "CastleVania: Symphony of the Night".
The primary base for this incarnation of Darrel was Albus, from Order of Ecclesia, whose Sprite I've included on the image for comparison.

Since first playing SotN at the age of eight or so (Which influenced me considerably), I've been a fan of the CastleVania series in many aspects, including, of course, its visual style. This CastleVania style of Spriting is characterized by rich, deep colors, smooth, flowing animations, realistic human proportions, and a level of attention to detail bordering on masochism, which makes Spriting in it a unique, and interesting challenge.
