It took a little longer than I wanted to. But here is more art on my fanfiction Transformers Overdrive, with an appearance of the classic G1 Alpha Trion.

There are some aspects of the new Transformers franchise that I do like, but I'm getting tired of how nobody can put in the effort to come up with new or more creative alternate modes for the Transformers characters.

With the original G1 series, they had multiple characters changing into any number of alternate modes that want either a vehicle or a beast.
When you consider that both the G1 Megatron and Soundwave were the Decepticons' leaders when they only transformed into a cassette player and a blaster gun.
(Granted, the options of alternate modes are somewhat limited by smartphones, and the law also says toys cannot resemble real-life weapons.)

Also, Alpha Trion Isn't the type to use weapons. But he and the other 13 primes were designed by Primus to defeat Unicron, so it is ridiculous that he wouldn't have any way of defending himself.

That's why I had it be that his alternate mode fits into his persona of an information gatherer by being a radar/satellite dish and functioning as a defense gun/missile turret.

Alpha Trion's last feature of his alternate mode would be the EMP pulse cannon for shutting down any missiles or other projectiles Unicron might throw at Alpha Trion and the other 13 primes during their mission to shut him down.
The canon is made from Alpha Trion's shoulder armor, head, and his white vest where the EMP charge is generated and fired.

One of the most difficult things to consider with his transformation was what to do with Alpha Trion's beard.
But I came up with the idea of having his beard be the feed horn of his satellite dish array and imagined used in producing energy charge for the EMP pulse cannon.

In the bio, I included a hint as to what one of the other 13 primes' alternate modes might be, See if you can figure it out.
