Well, I'm continuing to add another character from my Transformers Overdrive fanfiction story with the leader of the protagonist group, Capt. Beta of the expiration ship Axiom.
I made her alternate transformation mode a cybertronian hovering transport vessel, similar to Optimus Prime's semi-truck trailer configuration.
I wanted to also make it out that her trailer can be abandoned or destroyed during the story and has to either be recovered or rebuilt, rather than using the mocking concept of how Optimus Prime's trailer could disappear and reappear whenever he transformed.
In addition, I wanted Capt. Beta's alternate mode is to be capable of sharp turns while pulling her trailer unit. That is why I have her shield work as a double-hinged hitch allowing her to make sharp corners without jackknifing the trailer.
There are more details about her trailer and abilities Capt Beta will be capable of, which I will add in another post.
