One of my problems with this piece of art was trying to make a visual distinction between cybertronian metal, transmetal, and transmutation metal.
But I may have finally figured it out.

Finding images of Damascus Titanium while looking around on the net and decided to try it out.
For transmetal design, I used Damascus Titanium to discolor it.
But with the transmutation, the metal is warped and disfigured based on the Damascus Titanium pattern.

Here's a side-by-side comparison of M0N R31's transmutate state and Dead Star's transmetal configuration.
And I would appreciate your opinion on the update to the youth designs.
