Moshi Moshi. All you happy people you. (Japanese translation: "to speak" let's see how this greeting works out).

Dragoonshadow here, and I'm posting some of my previous drawings I did for my Transformers overdrive idea.
This is back when I was still playing around with the idea and was getting use a lot of the original characters and have the story based on earth.

Although I'm changing around the main idea and may not even use most of theses characters.
It turned out to be good practice on how to figure out the way of having these characters transform from vehicle to robot mode.

My version of an Earth-based Optimus prime's transformation was extremely difficult to figure out.
Mainly because I wanted to have his legs be centered in the front of the semitruck and have his double back wheels not be part of his legs at all.
Because when you view most Optimus prime transformation design, the double back wheels are always a part of his legs in one shape or form.

But in this version, I have the rear back wheels to come up and become part of his back armor, while also doubling as a form of extra power generators to supercharge himself and his weaponry.

I was really surprised at how well his vehicle mode came out when I drew it.
