Description
So, some time ago I made this OC/self-insert for the Samurai Jack universe, but I didn't really want to show it because I thought it was kinda corny, but eh, here goes nothing.

He is Rufus, a knight from a paladin order that existed long before Aku ruled the Earth. He was trained in the arts of defense, mastering his skills with mace and shield. He might not be the fastest, but his strength is unmatchable and he can resist quite a few hits thanks to his heavy plated armor and enchanted shield, which is unbreakable and has the ability to extend to provide extra cover.

As all paladins of the Order of the Boar, he developed the ability to use healing magic to aid himself and his allies, though he can only use it out of combat since it requires too much focus and energy.

One night, Aku came to threaten the castle, and the knights surrendered after he wiped most of the rebellious paladins out. Rufus found out that the high priest of the Order made a deal with Aku, revealing the secrets of the healing arts and enchanted artifacts they had in exchange for life and power. As Rufus had one of these artifacts, he was a main target. He fought Aku, but to no surprise, he lost more than the battle. His arm got cut off, but luckily he managed to escape when some of the knights distracted the evil being so Rufus could live. He hid in the forbidden dungeon and entered a timegate that the Order protected, which sent him to the distant future, only to find the kingdom in ruins.

With is main arm gone, he had to re-learn to fight in this world where Aku's evil is law using his off-hand, unable to use his enchanted shield, now strapped to his back.

While he traveled this new misterious land, he met a smith. His daughter's life was endangered by sickness, and he helped her with his healing magic. The smith was so grateful that he built a robot arm so he could hold his shield, and thus, the Boar Knight was back, looking for revenge on the evil spirit.
