FYI, had this idea late when coming back early from vacation....and was originally meant for Shang Tsuang to absorp Iago's soul when the Nohrian mage/tactician tried to take more power....although knowing where my series is now, think Hex would been a great/fitting example...and to explain one case of reform. Although how would Iago come to earth is still up to discussion, but mainly Iago tries to invade Friedkin University(long story before Omniverse) however Hex had his sights on it as well, however Iago would mock and taunt the master magician beliving him to be a inferior mage of "backwards kingdom"....unknowingly pissing Hex off, because for every spell Iago/M*cbeth tries, Hex countering it with a stronger or equal blow, tried to summon a army of faceless, Hex a army of Golems....but yet as he tried to retreat to Nohr, Hex made sure he wouldn't speak of any of this....ending the mage right there and now....however due to Ben being in Nohr at the moment, Hex realized how Iago was somewhat like him, a otherworlder mage sure....but without anything to lose nor his own fate to cherish....which oddly enough leads to him to take up the role as Friedkin's newest teacher, as he rather not want to end up as someone like....that Iago.

And well oddly saves a certain family to deal with a certain mage.
