In the worlds of anime and comics, it's clear that mothers like fathers do hold many roles, whenever for the sake of dying by origin story, being horrible figures to the heroes, or rather, being skilled ladies of action, especially s while hiding behind a friendly persona of a suburban family. But as tried as they might, their true personas are covered in the blood of their enemies and victims, with a small leak here and there...for better or worse.
But will the Thorn Princess prick the Blute's reign of violence?
Or will Jennifer Blood snip the Princess's life away?
Either way, two mother assassins enter, only one survive for Mother's day!
NGL...honestly feel this could play with Yor's assassin skills far better than Yu, and frankly, knowing how similar yet different the two are in tone and personality(excluding the 2018 Jennifer Blood)...this could be a actual expy/successor to Mikasa vs. Blake.
Also side note, knowing that Ennis only ended in a few issues, but Al Ewing carried it's brutal legacy...pretty sure that Ennis will be off the hook...for now.
Connections:
- Both are women who despite their nuclear family persona, areΒ secretly assassins/vigilantes(Yor is the Thorn Princess, Jennifer Blute is Jennifer Blood) clad in black or dark colors
- Their times as vigilantes would stem from a tragic past that would change them for better or worst(Yor and her brother were orphans, letting Yor to take the assassin job; Blute lost her family to her vicious uncles, leading her to train all her life to kill them)
- Furthermore...this would lead them to having certain flaws leeking out in their "picture-perfect" family life which could risk or outright ruined it(due to being orphaned and a assassin, Yor lacks some common sense as well as other skills like crappy cooking, which is played for laughs by her "daughter" Anya mindreading her; In contrast, due to a certain gene or personality disorder in her bloodline, Jennifer is prone to be as ax-crazy and messed up as her uncles, which not only made her kill her husband, but her children terrified of her or wish her dead)
- This could also erupted into thoughts of losing their husbands or families by another woman(Yor for Loid's former partner Fiona; Jennifer with another woman, Emily who her husband was with in a way)

Ignoring that while Yor is a airhead at best, aside from being a better mother, she does have a speed advantage as well as a higher power level(according to one official handbook) compared to Loid, furthermore, while Yor isn't big on common sense, her strength carries her through, as hello she's able to cut a tennis ball into pieces with a racket and hit one hard enough to broke another racket, and let's not forget being able to withstand poisons or getting hit by a car. So yeah.
