They’re mostly a fusion bc the artists behind Arcana Eden is the ones who made Grievous Lady (Team Grimoire and LAUR) and Fracture Ray (Sakuyzo), along with the fact that the jacket illustration has Hikari and Tairitsu. So .<. The two have elements from GL and FR respectively.

Is this similar to Poison/Affection?… Not really, I’d say. The two can function perfectly fine without the other, being pretty strong on their own (being based on boss songs does that). While P/A has to share mana and are forever linked (they’ll die if separated for too long), so the main similarity is just being stronger when together. (For P/A, it’s essential.)
