Not to be confused with Kuzumi, the girl in Spasmodic .<.

A childhood friend of Hikari’s, you could say. She was the one who introduced him to the concept of Guest Receptions: places where Rhythms are invited to these different “cities”, to participate in receptions/fights against “Players”. That kinda sent Hikari down the rabbit hole of discovering about the BOF Tournaments, becoming fascinated by the idea of gathering so many Rhythms to one place and having fun.

Though, on one hand, he did kinda want to meet the more popular Rhythms (especially Champions), but on the other, he does get the idea that some very lesser known Rhythms could use a place to stay.

So from there, Hikari would create Chronicle Metropolis. Spasmodic wasn’t part of it just yet, bc she was distracted by her job as a DJ. Until eventually, Hikari’s infectious enthusiasm got to her, and she decided fuck it, she wants in.

And how does she get to Chronicle Metropolis? By squeezing herself into a crate and being shipped to there.
