think its just great as it is - fantastic subtle shading - if you carry on you'll have to change the whole tonal value, would still look great but very different

i like the shape of his head here. The character does have a gentle but strong nature. I look forward to seeing more of him. Your very talented my friend, who ever the subject of this boy is lucky to have it drawn.
