Description
A gift I made for a close friend for his birthday! A hooded figure covered by his favorite color (blue which is also the sign for loyalty) with a shield in front of him. The color and design of the shield is inspired by Zelda which is one of his near and dear favorite video games. Within the shield are parts of who he is or things that represent him. The top triangle is gold with a plant growing among gears representing how he is the most organic and honest person despite everything he's been through (spinal fusion, cardiac arrest just for a few). The bottom right is the eye of Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon with the alpha/chief symbol over the eye in blue representing how he does not shy away from challenges and is the leader of our college friend group. The left is representative of one of his favorite characters Shadow the Hedgehog whose story he identifies with closely. And finally the middle is a heart of gold which also connects him to a picture I made someone in his family who has also helped me in my life. Not to mention he truley does have a heart of gold. Finally the words on the side is a promise from me to him "With you I'll stand".
