Yay! Another digital painting that was rotting in my stash is finally out!Used that moment where he first see the tower as a screenshot reference. Though this was traced, colors copied, and overall completely copied from the original screenshot, it was a great color study. Totally wanna do more of these.

Hey, as long as you're using all those materials to learn, there's absolutely nothing wrong with referencing them. Tracing contours can help you figure out how forms and shapes interact with one another - just don't forget to be constantly thinking about why you're drawing the lines you're drawing!
This looks awesome, though, and I'm especially fond of the textures. They are very much your style, and I hope you continue to keep your work looking so painterly!
