WIP of April's Monster Girl of the Month.Girls, really. There's three. Five. Threeve.
I actually had a bunny(ish) girl done up to be uploaded around Easter, but a lot of stuff happened that made such a release date impossible. XD She didn't really look monster-y enough, anyhow. I'll probably alter that sketch for later.
Anyway, you see the zebra/leopard chimera that I've made the poll about. Wanted a bit more time for your input, too.
Busy day, no time to finish this one tonight... but it's released before the end of the month. Hah.

Wow, man. Stripes are crazy to plan. Glad I didn't try on paper.
Mar 2 (morning): Working on tails, finishing mohawk.
I can't believe that proper Photoshop runs and saves so much quicker than Elements.
I've never had the option to use the pen tool before, and... oh my god; I totally get how people do clean lineart now... what an amazing tool! ...I can't wait to actually work on something in which I can use it. xD
...Uh-oh, my eyes are going weird again. I looks like the colours are moving. x_x

More or less created to show the easy possibility of differences between members of the chimera species. Also my first character in which I made polls to ask my watchers what they'd like the most as an addition to her design.

Dang! This looks amazing even if it's only in the WIP stages! I love the designs of the characters, and I do believe I'll have to go check out your next poll on the zebra/leopard chimera. I can't wait to see how she turns out!

are the other chimera friends of Qimaph?

Well, the centre figure, Mallory, is kind of the glue between Qimaph and the other chimera, considering all of them to be her friends.
In truth, Qimaph has challenging personalities to get along with (one being quiet and subdued, the other being very adamant about having things her way), and is rather new to the area the other two live in. The other chimera isn't certain what to think of any of this. (...Though the goat and leopard head seem to be taking to each other, they don't have the opportunity to speak much.)

Well, it's about the same. Both with the mind of a relatively standard snake.

Well, they are a bit more intelligent than average snakes, I should specify. But they aren't capable of speech or anything.
Really, it's more like the tails are permanent pets. XD

As they are attached to the body and share the bloodstream, and nutrients, they don't need to eat.
However, they'd still try to catch food if presented with said opportunity. c:/

they probably couldn't strike very easily, so I'm guessing they'd be fed by hand by one of the others

does that mean your chimeras have a common set of features, such as being an ungulate+felid with swapped eyes, a pair of hands with hooved claws and the other with felid claws, and the feet matching the upper pair of hands?

And, actually, yes! I... think I might have mentioned it before, but I really can't draw something without it having a history.
Penelope, Qimaph, and the others in this image (to name a few) ended up part of a for fun universe which I've expanded on a bit. Chimeras are one particular subspecies of monster in this universe that have a relatively set form which follows those rules, though ones that more encompass the dragon component mentioned in mythology are also present.
