Description
A drawing from 20years ago, when I was living in Japan for
a couple of years. I could speak japanese very well aready
when I moved there and took a deeper look into japanese
society. Learning about japanese society was my main goal
at that time and I felt love and compassion for Japan. But I felt the
atmosphere of daily life as emotionally cold.There are many people
from other countries on this planet who are much more connecting
to each other compared to japanese people who are mostly
introverted. A few friends from Japan to whom I showed this
drawing told me that they feel life in Japan similar to that picture.
And by the way this image above came into my mind while
sleeping during my second year in Japan and I only had to
draw it after I stood up.
