Description
Avianthros are cool. Anthro griffins/gryphons/gryphens/griffons/griffens/gryphins (did I miss a spelling?) are cooler. But not this one.I've actually been wanting to do an avian anthro for a long while now. The problem is that the wing-arms would prove somewhat difficult for me to draw, so I've been avoiding those. But a griffen anthro should be easy. Lion legs, bird-feet arms, wings on the back. Unfortunately, this one didn't come out right. I'm thinking it needed more detail, as it kinda looks to me like he's wearing a shirt and furry pants. And the wings are terrible. I think part of the problem was that I was too lazy to draw actual feathers, though those might've turned out bad as well. Oh, well. At least the dragon looked decent.
I'm definately gonna have to try a griffen again sometime. Maybe not this same one, but not the sequel either. I've yet to attempt real action poses, and if I were to do a sequel, it'd be the dragon coming in for a landing with the griffen ready for battle. (The fox from before would probably be a "I'm ready to be cool for the camera" pose.)
