Howdy! To celebrate Stray-City’s 7th Birthday, we are opening up member try-outs for someone to win the following character! This girl is going to play a major role in the next big plot for the group, and we’d like to offer a current member the chance to win her!
In order to try-out, please fully complete the character application and submit it in a note to the group! We have created a rough outline of suggestions for what the character might be like, but have left a lot up to you! Anything marked with an * must stay the same. You may pick any pack you like for her to join! You are also welcome to use Drazz’s art or re-draw her! You may change her accessories.
If you win this girl, the admins will loop you into the plot she will be involved in, and work with you to get the ball rolling! We need someone who is active and dedicated, but you will also have all 4 admins at your disposal to help, so we’ll ensure you won’t be overwhelmed!

*Intelligent: This girl is smart as a whip with room to spare. She’s quick to catch onto things and is observant of what’s going on around her.
*Secretive/Private: This character does not like others knowing a lot about her own personal life and thoughts. She can be slow to warm up, and while she is friendly and amicable, she would much rather know about you than you know about her.
*Opinionated/Political: This gal has many thoughts on the war between the three packs and feels strongly about the actions her leaders and those around her make.
Good-Willed: While she does hold strong opinions, this dog is good in nature and wants to help the world, not hurt it.
Untrusting: Being so private, this girl isn’t open to trust others easily as well. Words of affirmation often don’t work for her. She wants to see how you act and what you do and only then will she decide if you are worthy of trust or not.
Anxious: After living on the streets and having such strong negative experiences there, she has grown fearful and anxious towards dogs that she feels mean her harm and towards high stress situations in general.

Try to flesh her out as much as you can! It is true that quality is much better than quantity, but try to write more than just enough for the word count! Just think what her backstory is and how she must've felt as she lived through the different events, why she is who she is, how her history explains her traits, etc!
What are her goals? What defines her or makes her different from the other characters? What does she fear or dislike? Does she have any mannerisms when speaking? The more you know about your character the better!
