It has come to my attention that my monitor is getting kinda irritatingly blurry and wibbly, which isn't best helpful for arts. I should start a "buy cloud a new monitor" fund...
This here's Minerva, in case you couldn't read it. Somebody was pestering me to, like, colour her, but I didn't want to work on the other pic ([link] ) of her I did any more, so I made a new one.
Subtle as a sledgehammer, I know, but I've got a reputation to maintain. I also need to do some stuff that's a bit "different" at some point soon, so hopefully this will get the unsuitable elements out of my system for a while.

Beautiful colors and I really like the pose as well. I actual think this is one of your better color pictures also. Donβt really know why, maybe it is all the warm colors, makes her look all toasty and cuddly like. Well done sire.

Nah, I know... it's just, getting the hair all basically shaded before putting that stuff on is so mind numbingly dull, I really look forward to putting all the strands on. Usually I use plain white, but this time I was a bit more subtle...

I am also fascinated with the details of hair. I am working on loose braids. You know like girls have when they have been busy all day after they braided their hair in the morning. Kind of loose at the base. I've found the details kind of challenging, but like you say the loose strands outside of the knot is a nice cap to the end of the project.
