Ok, so as part of the uni project I'm currently working on with green Detective. I'm going to be making a trailer for the game using animatic stills and voice overs.
As such, I'll be needing some voices for these guys, now I could just tell you how they sound, but i'd rather show you instead. So I've gathered these video examples of how I think they'd sound for each of the images above.
ADVANCE TIPS!
When given the script, record all the line son a single recording session, bloopers are ok (I lol at them <3) and improv is HIGHLY encourage, have some fun with the characters you know? Be sure to say each line 3 or more times, with some variation in tone of each take, this'll let me see your emotional range If you're going for more than one character, please be sure to make them each sound different. We need to be able to tell the characters aren't voiced by the same person or sound similar to each otherkurt - David Bowie - [link]

Maddie is a strict, serious workaholic, though usually nothing breaks her composure, that is until Kurt came along, now she goes ballistic whenever he uses his dry wit and sarcasm on her.
Engleburt - Christopher Walken -[link]
Casting: CLOSED! Casted to ~Phantom-Savage
A tough man with unbreakable resolve and hard hat of justice, absolutely nothing can bring him down or shake him. Stern faced at all time and stern voiced too. If Walken is not possible, go for even Stephen Fry [link] or Horation Caine [link]
Jessica - Julie Andrews - [link]

The epitome of princessyness, frilly and girly to the extreme but with dignified class. act's childish but sounds mature in voice, not demeanor. Think Giselle from Enchanted's personality with Julie andrews Voice
Bahnoir - Ewan McGregor - [link]
Casting: CLOSED! casted to ~ZarJaMar
Pessimistic, depressed, paranoid and all around blue. Think of a mix between of Eeyore from Winnie the pooh and Stork from Storm hawks in terms of his personality. Oh and maybe Jaccuzi Splot too from Baccano. must be able to sing passionately about sad songs, such examples of songs you can sing are these: [link] [link] [link]
Veronica - Helena Bonham Carter - [link]

The calmer of the two sisters, often playing sidekick to Laura despite being smarter and more composed. Always seems calmly and points out common sense in scenarios that other characters may overlook.
Laura - Natalie Casey - [link]
Casting: CLOSED! Casted to ~Katrinonus
Much more headstrong, the look before leaping type that just HAS to get the big scoop for the papers. Often the first to act and very suspicious of anyone strange or perculiar in the most unsubtle of ways.
Azizi - none
Hercule - Steve Blum - [link]
Casting: CLOSED! Casted to ~Phantom-Savage
Badass in every way. Sounds very gruff and heroic at all times (unlike the sample, he isn't emo, but just go with that kind of voice with a more noble personality) If you can't do blum, try Sean Connery or any badass scottsman voice, even Mel Gibson's role as William Wallace. (Bonus points for "AL BA GABRA!" line) Or if you really wanna impress me, go with The higlander himself: Connor McLoud
Mariposa - Nicole Kidman - [link]
Casting: CLOSED! Casted to ~Katrinonus
Mariposa, always sounding calm yet very intimidating, bone chilling even when she speaks. Less is more here. Just make sure you're evil and scary.
If you wanna have a go, send me a note and I'll give you the trailer script for you to read from. You can choose more than one character to voice if you like.
So If you have decent recording software, send me me your samples via note, preferably in an MP3 format. Just upload the file to sendspace and give me the link it gives you.
Try to get these to me as soon possible if you can once I give you the script when you apply

This is only my opinion I have nothing against any of the Voice Actors and Actors.
1. I never thought that Kurt would sound like David Bowie. While David Bowie has a good voice I can't take it seriously. It's to flamboyant. He can sound like David Bowie but in less flamboyant and more serious but still have funny sense of humor.
2. While Tiffany Grant is a good voice actor I always picture Madeline French. But a English-French kind of voice like shes has French accent and says a couple of french words time to time but isn't like one of those stereotypical snobby French lady voices that obsessing over love.
3. Christopher Walken would be a Badass voice for Engleburt. I thought he would have Horatio Caine's
vocie mix with a Christopher Walken voice but more Manly (is that even possible.) and British.
4. Jessica voice is Perfect... Maybe a little too perfect.... Naaa it's fine.
5. Ewan McGregor dose have a good singing voice it's a little to happy I always thought Bahnoir to have this voice [link] (The poet guy.) or better yet the voice of Voltaire. I think it needs to be more depressing and Ewan McGregor sounds to panicky and trouble than depressing.
6.Veronica voice is perfect.
7.Laura voice is perfect.
8.Hercule with Steve Blum voice I don't see it and that I think Steve Blum has a certain height limit to what character he voices. When I think Hercule Bulldog I think Hero but also I think this guy will often mistake for a child like someone walks up to him on the street asking him if hes lost and then Hercule tells the person "hes is not a child" in Manliness More Badass than Steve Blum voice (if that even Possible) and yet still mysterious. plus hes talk in Old English. Steve Bulm is still VA GOD but his voice dosen't work Hercule.
9.Mariposa can TALK!? the voice is perfect.
10. Azizi should have the voice of Freakazoid Mute Butler. He's Mute you know.
