Finally he is done. Tree weeks of coloring, but I think it was werth it. As you can see I like shiney round things and feathers, oh ya and bright colors. I used no references, he came straight out of my overly falmboyant mind. Unfortunately iI think the smoke looks like crap, but this is the first time I have ever atempted to color smoke. What can you do? Um this is for my portfolio which is due on thursday and I know that I have absolutly no chance of winning the scholorship for best portfolio but hopefuly I will make a good showing. Anyway, I'm rambling so I think I'll wrap this up. I hope you all find Kaldi, the Guru of Divine Thought to be enjoyable.P.S. When you say his name you have to say it in a loud Indian accent.

It deserves a +fav. It really does. The coloring is awesome, and the lineart..... It's by far the best hand-made withouth-a-model drawing I've ever seen.

The blend of colours is so wild. It looks like something out of an '80's issue of Heavy Metal. Just wicked. This is probably much later than the outcome of your submission, but I wish you luck on the scholarship, and if not that, than any of your other artistic endeavors. There just aren't enough artists these days.

I really don't know why you haven't gotten daily deviation for this or something. the detail and the coloring are absolutely enviable. What did you color it with -- prismas or something else?

wow, tis came reaaally amazing!! Have to 
about the smoke...there's alil trick with what to color and not to, you can draw only the line of the smoke and start making a kindo of gradient scale from this line, keeping smoothly the corves of it. I don't know if you understood it...:sad:

He's great, lots of character and personality to him. Really good texture in every thing. No wonder it took you 3 weeks to color, I can certainly tell you put effort into him. Kudos to You.
