Name: Ethan Brickhouse

Occupation: former policeman, currently chief of security at the Millenium Mall, Delta City.

Bio: Ethan was born in a poor and crime infested area of Delta City.
The rough lifestyle he was forced to endure as a young boy made him choose to try to make the world a better and safer place, making him mature the idea of becoming a cop.
After graduating from High School he attended police accademy and served as a cop for 10 years in his own city.
However the stressful life of a cop , as well as a personal heavy disappoitnment in the growing of police brutality, made him choose to abandon the police work.
Looking for a more quiet enviroment he eventually founded a personal owned private security agency and his agency was eventually tasked with the charge of security at the prestigious Millenium Mal, recently foundedl.

Personality: Ethan personality can be described as a curios mixture of a “serious, no-nonsense police chief” kinda of guy and a more lighthearted, fun-loving nature.
He takes his job of providing security to the mall and his customers very seriously and he expects his subordinates to have the same attitude.
At the same time however, he is not above relaxing and having fun, when the working time is over of course.
He can be see frequently in his free time engaging in various activities, along with friends and employees alike.
Altough being strict into enforcing security as well as possesing a strong sense of justice and belief in the prosecution against criminals the fact that he was forced to live for many years in a poor area has made him aware that some people are sometimes “trapped” in a world that leaves them no choice in their lifestyle.
This has also developed him into believing that almost anyone can change for the better, if he is merely given a choice.
This has lead him in some cases to have a soft attitude towards shoplifters and thieves, especially young ones, going as far as releasing them after a lecture withouth allerting the authorities.
This has led some of his employee of nicknaming him “the reverend”, for his talent into giving lectures and sometimes life-changing advice, as well for his strict but warm attitude.
Altough being strict he has also shown of being patient and kindhearted.
He is also an incurable sweet-tooth, a trait that he developed for quitting smoking (a habit he picked up during his last years a s a cop when the stress became almost unbearable)

Skill/abilities: Ethan’s early life in a poor and crime infested area has allowed him to develop a impressive amount of strret-savy skill and knowledge and this abilities have been further developed by his ten years of service as a cop.
His employee often claim that Ethan can smell a troublemaker one mile before he actually enters the Mall.
He has extensive knowledge of firearms, explosives and security measures.
He is also a good hand to hand fighter, and he is phisically very strong and agile, despite the fact that he gained quite some pounds in his late years.
Ethan ha salso shown to posses a high empathic and sensitive nature, hidden beneath a gruff exterior; this combined with his charismatic personality (as well with a good ability in smooth talking, when needed) allow him to easily connect to people and gaining their trust.

Inspiration: Chief Bogo from Disney's "Zootopia", Don Brodka from "The Simpson", Father Robert "Bobby" Carillo from "Sleepers"

Curiosity: this new characther was originally intended to be a cop but I decided to change that idea and make him an ex cop (I guess I have heard too much of police brutality in the last times)
THis characther is not one of the hybrid OC I mentioned in my last journal but some of his employee will be the hybrids OC I mentioned.
Origianlly the characther was going to be a reformed criminal who abandoned his previous life after the death of his younger brother; eventually I realized that idea was too much of a cliche and besides it couldn't work since an ex criminal, even a reformed one, can't join the police
