While I'm not surprised by how it turned out, I can't say I'm not the teeniest disappointed.
Though the main thing that got me was the cute avatar maker, if that came out when I was 13 hoo boy I would've been ecstatic for that shit, and it is a very niche feature I understand that. But it's been fun unlocking all the wearables and such. Again I know that's a niche thing that not most people would be excited for. I also enjoyed seeing some of my favorite character again, in fact the majority of the (game) cast interacting. Since... honestly the last 3d sonic I played was Heroes LMAO. So it's been awhile. Only got to play this one because sister bought it.

I do have some gripes with the end of the game, it started off alriiiight but... oh my god.
Infinite do you mind not stealing Metal Sonic's boss fight. Like I get running bosses are a sonic trope but holy fucking shit it was literally the same fight for Infinite's final fight and that just felt so fucking lazy. ALSO WHERE DID CHAOS GO?? I get Lil sonic got him in that cutscene BUT WASN'T ONE OF THE MAIN DRAWS THAT YOU COULD FIGHT ALL THE OLD BOSSES?? YOU DIDN'T... fight...... him. :'D Also Tails heck you for just forgetting about Omega and then it feeling like the developers forgot about him too and he just.... shows up at the end. How dare you forget the precious robot. Those are really minor nitpicks.. I guess, that me and my sister noticed while we were playing.

Anyways, here is an Infinite doodle. Why? Mainly to plug how fucking great his theme music is. Like... that's one thing Sonic has never disappointed me on, was the music, aha. I didn't really like his character much but he seemed like a fun challenge to draw. And good grief he was, I wanted to do something better so instead I used him as an excuse to practice symmetry and some other things. Woo.

Just a lil ramble. As someone who does have the terrible nostalgia goggles for 3d sonic I did like the game, but being older it's so much easier for me to see the flaws I guess ffft.
...honestly I'm still just over here waiting for a new chao world, lmao.
