Ever notice how Trillian always gets the short end of the stick whenever an adaptation does something original &/or exclusive with her character? Between:
•An absence from Seasons 2 & 4 of the radio show & book 4 (she was also absent from book 4, which Season 4 is adapted from. Both cases also explain the absence. She also gets name-dropped in the radio version of the scene where Ford is getting back to Earth in the latter)
•being cut out of the video game (which ends with them setting foot on Magrathea)
•Being the plucky love interest in the movie
•Having the behavioral stereotype of a dumb blond in the TV show (although she’s still as smart as in the books)
•generally being done no justice in the book promo material
