I completely forgot about this guy until recently, well actually I forgot he started as a Spider-man villain. In recent years, he's more of an anti-hero and with the movie coming out (eventually) I thought it was time to give him a shot. He used to creep me out as a kid and I remember really liking the whole storyline with him in the 90's animated series. It was hard trying to come up with a more modern design for him, because he really only has one outfit. Every redesign I see of him has the same skin tight outfit with bat wing-like cape and I find that odd that no one could come up with a more modernized version. In the current comics, he has a more Crow inspired outfit which isn't bad, but I was looking for something more believable I guess. This is the closest design I could come up with that pays homage to his classic design while making it more modern and realistic (minus the fact that he's a vampire).
