This piece, and the motivation for my entry was my friend and fellow roleplayer, who's Owlin Wizard (as seen next to the unnamed Owlin Blacksmith) comes from a family of wealthy warriors who have their own family smith (who made Brixibus' cane blade he keeps on his person).

As my friend explained it: "The MindBlade used one for melee fighting. Brix's sister had one made for him by the family Smith with a literal hidden blade bc she "didn't want him to leave without the protection of the family steel" and it even had a geometric owl instead of a geometric elephant like the MindBlade had."

I figured this Owlin "fit the bill" as it were, and so I decided to last minute throw my hat in the ring.

I showed my friend my progress and he said:

"These characters aren't even real and im getting choked up thinking about Brixis' sister giving him a cane bc "she can't let him go off to magic school without the family steel for protection"

(We take our roleplaying VERY seriously...)

Here's hoping I win... Brixibus looks adorable next to him.

My only regret is I didn't get to start this sooner, I was hoping to get some shading done...
