Description :edit :alright, i came up with something for her younger form, however it may be subject to change later on and as usual i cannot draw wings, but at least they look better than LAST TIME i drew them.

Character name:  Phoenix "Ember" (she doesn’t have a last name so a fake, and unoriginal one was created)

Character age:  While it is unknown just how old Phoenix is, after her death her body turned to ash and from the ashes  she was reborn. From the day of her birth and over the course of about 3 months, her body grew rapidly and her mind matured to that of a 10 year old girl before her growth slowed.

Personality:  When Phoenix is first met in the second series, she is dutiful, but cold. Having spent many years alone looking for her princess she has become withdrawn and has a hard time communicating. Being a Phoenix in human form Phoenix knows that if she is to die she will merely return in another form and as such she has come to put little importance on her own well being. Having lived many lives she is full of wisdom and tends to know many things that have actually been lost to the ages.  After being reborn Phoenix retains her memories and her wisdom but besides that it’s as if someone pressed the reset button. As a child Phoenix  goes through life again, allowing her to see through the eyes of a child, and live as someone else. After her death in series two the new Phoenix is happier, a bit bubbly and full of energy.  Like a child, she tends to be attracted to bright colors and shiny objects.  She canbe easily distracted and often walks off to explore.

Color Associations:  Phoenix's own wardrobe is filled with bright colors, yellows, reds and oranges, and as such she is often associated with these colors.  She also wears a lot of while and a bit of black.

Odd Facts:  Before she died, Phoenix and Tiger had never really gotten along and the two often got on each others nerves.  However, after being reborn she started to look at tiger and satina as parent figures, looking to them when she is upset or hurt or when she is hungry.  Similarly, she and Una, who previously had never really talked became fast friends. It took a while for Phoenix to warm up to Lori-Chan, but the reborn Phoenix is now quite fond of her.

Likes:  The old Phoenix was fond of silence, classical music, peace, and warmth however the younger Phoenix found herself to be rather fond of laughter, and voices, she likes to be in a room full of friends, she still loves warmth and classical music and loves bright colors.

Dislikes:  Phoenix has a fear of water and can’t stand taking baths.

Hobby/Hobbies:  Phoenix loves to fly.  She loves to push against winds; it gives her a rush to feel like she is stronger than the winds of nature.

Powers:  Phoenix is reborn every time she dies.  With her wings she can fly, and she can form fire out of nothing.

Weaknesses:  Water, even just the word strikes fear into Phoenix.  Water makes her wings weak and causes them to hurt.  She knows full well the kind of creatures that hide beneath the waves and she wants no part of it!

Other Forms:  Phoenix has learned to hide her wings but when they are hidden, people see scars in their place.

Home:  Born in Terrain, Phoenix considers it her home.  However, as a protector of her princess her home is wherever her princess is.

Alignment:  Phoenix doesn’t really have an alignment; her only goal is the protection of her princesses.  Good and bad have nothing to do with her.

Pets?:  None.

Signature Weapons?  None .

Race:  As a Phoenix in human form she belongs to the Terrainian race.

Occupation:  Phoenix is a member of Terrain's royal guard.

Background/History:  Phoenix was once a glorious bird of the same name.  Beautiful Flaming feathers covered her body.  Her beak was harder than diamonds  and her legs were short but strong.  She lived in harmony with fire; it was her friend.

Phoenix never had any fear of creatures -- they would not harm her and she would not harm them.  She enjoyed joining other creatures when they napped or joining in on occasional chases and games.  Perhaps it was her friendly nature that caused her downfall.  Her peaceful way of life went up in flames the day the strange two-legged creatures came. They weren’t new creatures; the two legged ones were some of her favorites as they would play with her and occasionally offer her treats.  They made great companions, but these ones were different; the way they dressed, the way they walked, the way sounds came from their mouths.  Even their colors were unusual.

Poor Phoenix never saw it coming.  She was lured to the ground by a particularly tasty rodent. Phoenix was terrified as sharp objects and ropes cut through her glorious form.  She saw strange shapes and colors rising from the ground before everything went black.  When Phoenix awoke, nothing felt right.  She was disoriented and thought things would soon return to normal but soon found things were far worse than she could imagine.  To her horror, she found her glorious body had been changed into that of the two-legged ones, and her beautiful wings were gone!  She rose unsteadily to her new feet and looked around to find herself in one of the two-legged ones nests.  A fear that she had never known pumped through her as she heard the crack of a door.  A young two-legged one - probably female - walked in with some strange liquids and some meat with an admittedly delightful aroma on a plate.  But Phoenix wasn’t going to be fooled!  She backed up against a wall.  The young two-legged one gave her a look of pity and spoke to her.  Phoenix didn’t exactly understand but the young creature seemed friendly and seemed to want to help.  Phoenix hesitantly took a few steps forward and pounced on the food, devouring  it as quickly as she could, while at the same time trying to figure out how this new mouth worked!

Over the months that followed, the young two-legged Azalea (as she was called) catered to Phoenix's wounds and the two became close friends.  Azalea was the heir of the kingdom of Terrain.  The people who had attacked Phoenix were from Dacingtra, a cruel nation.  Azalea discovered them torturing and experimenting with Phoenix, and had sent a small force to deal with the situation.  The Dacingtrans had been studying Phoenix's power of reincarnation hoping to learn its secret and to use it themselves.  They had used Terranian magic to seal Phoenix in human form which, sadly, was irreversible.  After making a full recovery, Phoenix spent her days alongside Azalea, learning more about her and her world.

One day the Dacingtrans returned to Terrain territory and set their sights on the princess.  If it weren’t for Phoenix, they would likely have killed her.  Afterwards, Phoenix was knighted and tasked with protecting the princess.  As the years progressed, Phoenix and Azalea grew older and eventually Azalea married.  The stork arrived, bringing her a daughter whom she named Wanalla.  She would later receive a son whom she named Andrew and another daughter, Melody. Phoenix was there when the queen grew gravely ill, but before she died, she named her Eldest daughter as her eventual heir.  Azalea asked Phoenix to watch over her daughter and Phoenix gave her word that she would.

Phoenix was present the day the terrains returned and used the same magic that had trapped her in human form to humanize several creatures for the protection of the prince and the elder princess.  Apparently this had been a tradition far before Phoenix became human. It was the reason so many of the citizens of terrain had animal traits.  With the Terranian magic the form creatures were bonded to their heirs, their lives intertwined. the magic  made the former creatures unable to deny a order they were given by the royal and with the oath to protect, were they to see their royal fall they too would bear the consequence. 4 protectors were made for the prince and for for the princess 5 if one were to count phoenix, however phoenix was never bound to the princess or the queen before her by oath or magic.

For some reason, despite Azalea's wishes for Wannalla to be her heir, the council of Terrain decided that the prince would also make a fine leader some day, and so he would be trained for taking over the kingdom just like his sister.  Eventually they would decide between the two.  However, as he grew older prince Andrew started to become dangerous.  As he grew, he dabbled in dark magic and even attempted to assassinate one of the council elders.  Because of this crime, he and his humanoid protectors were banished.  Princess Melody at the time was too young to fully comprehend the event, Her sister however was heartbroken.  Phoenix at the time found herself constantly looking over the elder princess and worrying about her state of health.  It was a hard time for the girl.  not long later, the young princess found love with a wandering knight by the name of Psyche and her guardians unfortunately were growing careless in the time of peace, and while out on a walk with her love, the young princess was struck down by a member of an enemy kingdom.  Psyche was crushed.  He wanted so much to save her but there was nothing he could do.

However he was able to predict the future and he knew she would once again be reborn.  Like Phoenix, the girl would someday rise again as a new girl.  Unlike her fellow guardians who were put in a sort of stasis until their princess was to be incarnated, Phoenix was awake constantly, always looking for her princess.  It took decades before she would find herself in the kingdom of Chosana, face to face with a young girl, named Lori-Chan.
