So no ball, no carried gear. It's all about keeping opposing players out of your team's Home Zone and challenging them if they enter any Assault Zone. That's made easier if you can put opposing players into a Pitfall Channel.
I presume you can exit the Pitfall only via the stairs to your team's Home Zone. Also that confrontations in a Pitfall Channel are forbidden, as is flight (whether to cross the field/Pitfalls or to exit a Pitfall or any other reason). I suspect there are serious limits as to what's allowed between opposing players even outside the Pitfalls.

I love when ppl add this type of things in the worlds of their creations, it make it feel a lot more alive, kinda remind me of the Zero-G Baseball in Dead Space
