Description Random Character Creation Generator:
By ~Dreamnorn

Looking to create an awesome character? Are you thinking of a story, but need another player in the mix? Or are you just bored? Either way, welcome to Dreamnorn’s Create-A-Character Guide! In here, you get to randomly roll a character which you can use for a story, comic, roleplay, or whatever you truly want.

Firstly, we need supplies…
   a) A coin
   b) A d4
   c) A d10 and a percentage die
   d) Pencil and paper to mark the traits

Got all that? Good. If you don’t have the necessary dice you need, click the link in the description for number generation.

NOTE: You can use this to help you create a character if you want. If you already know certain things, like what species it will be or what gender it is, feel free to skip the questions.

Now let’s get cracking!

Gender:

This one is easy enough. Flip a coin to determine whether your character is male or female. Heads for a boy, tails for a girl.

Species:

For this one, roll a d4 or set the number generator  to a minimum of 1 and maximum of 4.

1 – Human
2 – Animal (you can determine which)
3 – Mythical Creature (dragon, alien, chimera, etc.)
4 – Mythical Human Creature (vampire, cyborg, elf, etc.)

The Epic List of Traits:

For this one, roll a percentage die and a d10 or set the number generator to a minimum of 1 and maximum of 100. This will determine some of the defining personality traits of your character. Repeat 3-7 times, for many possibilities! Of course, once you are given the basic traits you can expand upon them to flesh out your character as much as you like.

NOTE: If you get conflicting ones (for example, “selfish” and “charitable”), then you can reroll for the second one you got. That means that if you rolled “selfish” first, the trait won’t go away. Also, if you roll one trait twice, just reroll.

Now roll. Your character is now…

1 – Loyal
2 – Impulsive
3 – Intelligent
4 – Cheerful
5 – Energetic
6 – Rambunctious
7 – Feisty
8 – Witty

My Little Challenge:

Finished rolling your character? Excellent, excellent! Now that you’re all situated, you’re ready to develop him/her more for whichever story, roleplay, or comic you want.

But, before you go, I have a little challenge for you…

Now that you’ve randomly rolled a character, I humbly request you test him/her out. Write a little story centering around them, draw a comic or picture, or record a roleplay you had with them and post it on DeviantART. I would love to see what you come up with for this character which probably (literally) came out of the blue!

Whoa, check out you and your awesome ideas! I'm all over this, Dream. I got my little bro interested too, but he's doing summer homework. (What's that he's reading? The Song of Roland? I had to read the Scottish Chiefs before sophomore year...)

Ooooh, don't spoil it! XD I need to read Pride and Prejudice first. But I need to study Of Mice and Men for a test at the beginning of the school year, so I'll keep this in mind. :3

I'm too flustered with other summery projects to truly focus on reading. D: Which is too bad, since P& is supposed to be a great book.

And thanks for faving the Generator. x3

AH MUST FAVE IT AH MUST.
And yeah, it is a great book. I love it, so far. Compared to it, I don't know how the movie got the gist of it in just about two hours.

Hurrhurr, don't draw him yet! You need to roll 3-7 traits to get as much character depth as you can. ;D

But he sounds like fun already. Just today I got a female elf who was irritable, ruthless, cold, serious, and bold. Pretty whacky, eh?
