‘Not For Me’ is a series of images and text, I wanted to concentrate on movement. How the model’s position could alter how emotion was perceived by the viewer. The head bowed and strange positions of the model made you believe the person was self conscious and anxious with distorted thoughts. The text is what the person is thinking, a sad recollection caught in an instant by the camera. The texture was important on these images to create depth and I wanted the text to only just be visible in order for it to be seen after the figure.
