As he takes the first step away from his kittypet life, he never looks back, and he never regrets.Gawd, am I proud of this! I think it turned out much better than my first lineless art, don't you? I think it's obvious that this is Rusty, aka Firepaw, heart and star from the Warriors series. I think I have this weird habit of drawing him when I'm trying out something new.
The first warrior cats picture I drew was of him, back in February, and boy have I improved since then! It makes me almost happy when I look back at it! 
Back to the picture! Yes, I know the brick wall is too shoooort.... But I don't think it matters much, honestly.
Aaah, critiques are really, really welcome.
Also, should I take commissions? I've done one before, but I was less experienced with backgrounds then. And if so, what would you think is a decent price? I was thinking of around 100-150 points for the coloured and shaded cha racters similar to my Blackstar and Brambleclaw pictures, and around 300 points for pictures similar to my Firestar+Scourge picture (not like this one, this one took ages). Mind that 100
= 1.2 dollars, and you can buy points in minimum batches of 400. :U

Commissioning isn't a bad idea. I say go for it. I would buy something if I wasn't dirt poor
As far as this actual picture goes, I really like it. The colors and composition all go well together, and your anatomy is much improved since your last lineless. I like the flowers and foliage beneath him, they add lot to this picture. I like the reoccurring theme with orange and green going on with the flowers, Rusty, the wall, and the foliage, the background, Rusty's eyes, and Rusty's collar. I think the wall is fine how it is, actually. We get the idea of what's happening.
One small thing that I find bothering me is Rusty's collar. It looks rather flat, and perhaps some detail like a little buckle or a name-tag/barrel would've reinforced the idea of it as a collar.

Thanks so much! Well, he is younger, so I can't make him as stocky as before, now can I? Haha, thanks to you, I'm watching the anatomy of my cat drawings more carefully, and that's great. I was afraid the colour scheme would seem boring as I worked on it, with only oranges and greens, but I like the end result nonetheless.
Yes, I'll have to change that later. In my first picture I drew him with a similar collar, but then with a golden bell on. Maybe I should try that? Gold/yellow isn't so far away from orange, after all, and I've always imagined him with something like that. Do you think I directed too much light on the collar? Now that I look closer, it seems to take away some of the focus.

Yeah, I think that's part of it - that the collar is too bright, and it does stand out and takes attention away from other parts.
