Aureus knows what must be done. The celestial staff has the power to destroy Rarog, to shatter his spirit, to save the Skelly kingdom. But to get it from this realm, to guide it back home, will take every bit of spirit he has as well. And yet, he makes the choice.

The staff explodes with energy as all of Aureus's thoughts direct it back to his reality, to find the demon Ragog, to pierce his flame with this power cosmic, and end him. His will steeled to complete this final act, to be the guiding hand, to save the Skellys from doom. His spirit begins to leave the possessed skeleton and bond with the staff to leave this reality...
