I'm a damn machine!
This morning, I found myself inspired to do a pic of Morrigan the Succubus, and here it is!
Phew, my eyes are sore again..
Instead of the usual cute and cuddly Morrigan that you often seem to see, I made this version a bit more sharp and pointy.. but don't worry, she's still got a soft spot or two! (eg; She's got a soft spot for bonking people when they're asleep!)

Ah, who doesn't love Morrigan? Really well done, although the tights look they might belong to a batman fetishist since they look more like his signal than most of the depictions I've seen of hers. Great interpretation on her, though. It's always nice to see something a little different.

I've seen versions of Morrigan where her tights have almost exact duplicates of the bat symbol on them.. I tried to avoid that, and also to repeat her heart motif-- notice how each of the bats on her tights are basicaly circles with two heart-shaped bites out of them?

Yes, snug and shiney is all good, but I should probably try to do more wrinkly or flowing fabric.. I dont want to get complacent.. But that PVC look is hard to resist!

I know I'm going to get rapped in the mouth for this...but I don't think it looks like her...the artwork is awesome! But it looks like a chic who's dressed like her...I'm a huge morrigan fan and it resembles her because of the oufit and stuff but it doesn't feel like her...just my opinion...prolly not worth much...but the art itself is fantastic!

And like I said, Instead of going for the 'cute & cuddly' look, I made her more sharp & pointy in my version.

Well I did this all in one day.. maybe an hour to do the pencils, and about maybe 5 hours on and off to colour.. I'm not sure exactly, coz I kept stopping to watch the Simpsons or play Doom3.

Thanks Kid36! On my last deviation (cammy) I liked the way that the bright white highlight on one side of her figure made her stand out from the picture, so I tried to do it again on this one, with the moonlight (dont know if that's realy obvious or not)

You need to teach me backgrounds. They seem to be all digital, but they fit so well with the image. That's how i draw too, charas on a white background. And I NEED to do more backgrounds. This pic is spectacular. I'm definitely loving that font for "Morrigan" and the Hair is stunning. Tight Jawn once again. One Love

This background is very basic, it's just all Gradients and stencils... I just scribbled a horizon with a castle(most of the castle got cropped) using the lasso tool, then used gradients to fade the blues together..
The Cammy pic had a much more complicated background... but it was still basicaly just a bunch of scribbles and airbrushing...
