Description
Okay a while back Tala had asked me to do a tutorial so I promised her I would and hear it is. Well the face isn't the best anatomy is off but this is just to show how to draw a dog. It was done speedily in class, I really didn't have much time nor did I feel well. But, this shows how 'I' draw my dogs/wolves and hopefully it can help you. It is all basic shapes. And is shown step by step how to draw the head, the bodies are there for examples on how to use shapes and anatomy with the dog/wolf bodies. I hope this helps someo of you. ^^ Enjoy.Related content

Very helpful... do you have any tips on eyes/body? Cause I've experimented with several different styles of eyes, but I just can't tell what's a good type to use...
As for the body, my wolves always come out with huge paws, wierd bellies and tiny bodies. o.0

I would say, reference, reference, reference. You can ovals, squares, and circles with the body. Really honestly the best way to learn is referencing off real animal pictures. Anatomy first, that will make you a better artist. As for the paws, just be aware you are drawing them large and make them smaller.

This is definitely helpful. =3
I've never been one to bother with proper anatomy... I just go for it.
But I'm trying to get some practice in with this whole internal sketching stuff, so thank you for this. ^ ^;
