"God forgive me for I am the darkness from within..."This took so long, but I got passed my art block 19 different attempts at outling and 5 different tries at colouring till I finally decided on one. Mostly done in Open Canvas, the text added in Photoshop 7.0 This has got to be the hardest thing I've ever had to complete, just because of the art lock and how annoyed I was but it was worth pulling it off.
Big personal peice her, the traditional Selene peice, dark and sad, beautiful yet something's hidden. I spent time thinking about how to complete this, since there are some flaws and I tried my best to correct them, I really hope you all enjoy this. It was a pain to create but in the end it turned out to be a beautiful peice and I was listening to Over My Head (Cable Car) by The Frey which heavily inspired the mood.

I really really like this piece. Selene looks wonderful! I absolutly LOVE the background and the text, it gives her a somewhat haunting look. Same with the glowing necklace and the blue and black of the background. Good job!!!

Wow! This is a really beautiful piece! All the hidden secrets and spooks, you can just feel it when you look at this. That's what makes it so successful! It may have taken a long time, but the outcome is nothing short of extraordinary. Selene's dark theme and mood coupled with the emotional text running across the image make for a very powerful piece. I love the coloring technique you took with this too. My favorite part, though, has got to be the cross. Seeing it glow amidst all the darkness shrouding Selene radiates a feel of hope. I really like that. Nice work, Drew. <3

Aw thank you so much for the uber lovely comment. Accually her legs are pretty thin, I may have made them uneven because I literally just erased them to make the fog. So that is prolly why they look so odd. xDD Yes, I wanted it to be like a myst, fog-like thing surronding her. Oh I know I love that name!!! Woo hooo! I'll get started on your trade soon, just note me when your done with all your charcter sheets since I"m not quite sure how many more you'll be doing. xDD
