FIRST OF MANY
Here's my first entry to the Loshenka Anniversary Event this year but expect MANY more, not just of my own horses but I’ll also be doing gifts.
This one is just Miss Godiva showing off in her usual refined way, done with everyone and believing she deserves royal treatment.

Godiva was focussed and Ayla could tell. The mare was on her a-game, ears picked, trot floaty. She definitely remembered this event from last year, after a desperate loss both Godiva and her handler were ready for redemption.
The morning sun was barely breaking the treeline, the crisp winter chill was still lingering around the clearing and the horses were feeling it. There were echoing snorts and hoofbeats as the horses anxiously waited their turns, but not Godiva. She had her own personal style of preparation, Ayla called it ‘statue mode’. The mare was stock-still and standing erect. Eye forward and unwavering. This behavior had been concerning when Ayla first started working with the mare but it was now a consistent sight. This was just the way the mare was, although peculiar. But Ayla wasn’t worried. Godiva was ready.
