hee hee i sure am clever with those titles, eh? (:

happy fourth of july to all you americans! and what better way to celebrate than with giant gay bug-robot hybrids! nothing says "i love america" more than a drawing of two metallic arthropods getting it on!

to be fair, it's less of a "sexytime" pic and more of an "impending sexytime" pic. waspinator is getting ready to killer bee, that's for sure!

if you do not know who waspinator is then you are silly. killer bee, however, is a different story. i saw him in 's gallery, here and here [i stole waspinator's expression straight from that second pic, obviously enough, so i suppose i should credit her with that, too]. he is her idea of what would've happened had black arachnia gotten her servos on bumblebee. i'm lovin' it, as they say (:

i keep drawing robots blushing. blushing is blood [or even energon, as the case may be] rushing to the surface of the skin [or plating, etc]. it is visible on humans because skin is not entirely opaque. metal plating, however, is! that, of course, was assuming that plating is filled with countless tiny energon vessels much in the way that skin is threaded through with blood vessels- which is also horribly unlikely! goodness me, that means blushing robots is a physical impossibility! well. i never said i was going for realism here (: hah! realism! i'm drawing fanart for cartoons and i talk of realism! gosh, i am too funny sometimes.

gosh. work in seven hours. bedtime for bonzo (:

wow, this pic got more faves and collection adds on its first day than any of my other pics have total! i guess this is an indication that i should draw gay robots more often, hahahah
