It's been almost ready for days, but I didn't have time to put the finishing touches on it. I've been busy. And there are things I can still fix ... but ... well, time to move on.

So yeah, another question answered. Where is Mai?
Now before anyone jumps to conclusions, remember that Zuko and Mai break up in canon, and he leaves her behind more than once, but they still ended up together at the end of the series. Anyway ... you'll know more when the next page is posted. (THE MAI/ZUKO Flashback BEGINS!)

I'm curious. What do you guys think of Maiko flashbacks being in red tones instead of the light blue? I'm considering it. The blue made sense for Aang and Katara up in the air temples. But the Maiko flashback takes place in the Fire Nation ...

I love Katara's expression in the second panel. Haha. The colors are just beautiful and soft. Flashbacks in red would sound reasonable. I thought of orange as a good color - the sun's color. But, Mai hates orange.

Aw, I love Katara's expression in the second panel! And I'm all for the Maiko flashbacks to be in red, I think it is more suitable for them. Lovely as usual!

I thought so too.
Plus it happend they take place inside the Fire Palace, so they will be fire lit and everything's red in there anyway.
It just makes sense. Now I need to find the right red.... It would be nice if you could actually SEE the flashback and not just a red page.

It's funny, it's always someone on Zuko's side is the one to interfere. It's too bad Jet wasn't around. Now he'd know how to interfere. ^-^ It always suck that Zuko never has a rival, but Katara does. (And Aang is not a rival)

fire+dullness= lackluster

now Zutara:
fire+water= steamy hottness!
