I just wanted to let loose and sketch a little something funny I thought about. ^_^I've got a few more illustrations in the works ...
and the next 'page' is in the works ...
but I wanted to post this quickie ... just to see if it makes anybody smile. ^_^

And I just realized another thing that bothers me about Zutara....
This pic, I like the three non-Zutarians best.
Why?
Because I've seen the first one before!!!
Underwear Zuko and underwear Katara....rain...around one another, kissing....the usual. It's not SUPER-common, but when you see it, it's much more striking. The Zujin one is simple but still uncommon...thus....
The Maizu one is pretty much completely unique.
And Zukaang, well, that's all in the word.

hmmmmm ... two dripping lovers in their underwear is a reccuring "zutara" theme. Well, water is her element ... and underwear is hot. I didn't even think about it when I drew them like that. ^_^ I just wanted to draw the rain trickling down their skin. At night, surrounded by her element, bathed in moonlit rain. She might be crying ... maybe she hates how she feels about him, and what it would do to her Aang...
... Naw. I like drawing underwear. ^_^
The Zujin one is sweet and the only one that actually happened. ^_^ It's the moment before he kisses back.
I love the Maizu pic. It might be my favorite panel in this piece. So sweet. I really like drawing them together.

Besides, he has that obsession with finding the Avatar....
I mean, come on! If Aang was a female Avatar, shippers would be ALL OVER that!

YES! If Aang was a girl, and a few years older, I would ship them. ^_^ Aanga would have to be older because pairing a 12yr old girl and a 17yr old guy just doesn't seem right. But I could totally see it. ^_^
He chases her to the ends of the earth. And when he finally has her ... (kissy kissy....) Ah HA HA HA, I suck.
I am glad you thought it was funny. That was my intention. I post alot of heavy romantic stuff. But I like to do goofy stuff too. I'm multi-faceted. ^_^
