I've been playing Mortal Kombat 11 non stop since it came out. I was very iffy at first with the new characters, but I fell in love with Kronika and her daughter Cetrion. Kronika is the Elder God of time, while Cetrion is the Elder God of nature/Earth. I really liked Cetrion's design and it reminded me of how Poison Ivy looked in Injustice 2.
When I was starting to color this, I originally used a wrong color palette as reference instead of her default colors, so I had to completely re-do it. Thankfully I was able to fix it before I started shading.

The pose I referenced is an intro she has where she smiles at a butterfly that lands on her finger. I thought it so super cute and my favorite intro pose. The butterfly looked kinda mutant like, so I assumed that it was from another realm, which is why the one I drew looks strange. (Also I can't draw butterflies for shit lol )

But overall I'm really happy with how this came out. I will definitely be drawing more MK11 artwork very soon! I main Noob Saibot and Jade, so expect art of them coming up.
