Very interesting and clever concept for this. I thought you did an amazing job on the open stomach bits. Your integration of metal to skin in general is spot on, especially that thin cut-away slice showing the inner layer under her skin.
I noticed that around some of her hair, mostly at the very ends where it gets very thin and wispy, it becomes too obvious that a white background stock was transposed onto a darker one. Using an erase tool set on low opacity and you could clean up that sort of thing up. Also the cardboard box really stands out and needs to blend more the background. Gaussian blur could help with this, and maybe some color/brightness adjustments could tone down the vividness and make it blend into this setting more naturally.
Something about the removed parts of her leg don't sit right on the bed, like they are just a bit and have no real weight. Same goes for the wrenches, the top one especially. I think this is caused by the way we can see the full underline of the object and a very even (and slightly too dark) shadow beneath each, which the bedding doesn't overlap at all. Compare the bottom of those objects to what you can see from her still-attached knees. They are sinking down into the bedding just enough that fabric comes up in places to obscure flesh and shadow both. Even her elbow in the forefront (which is resting very lightly!) has a few ridges of fabric that are intruding into the visible shadow. These are the things which give her weight and make her seem to sink into the bed instead of hover on it.
I hope you haven't been offended or think of my comment as a flame because the truth is I really was struck by this creative concept and the framework of the idea is very solid and fascinating. The stock you chose for this photo manip was a wonderful pose because it gives the whole 'repair' a very casual tone, like she does this sort of thing regularly, and is excited by whatever she is adding to herself.
The things that seemed off about this picture were distractions from how much I liked and appreciated the picture you were trying to make, because the concept is so fantastic. And the thing is, the problems I see are really not hard things to fix. So that's why I wrote you such a ridiculously long comment. XD Right now this picture seems almost finished, and it gives me the impression that you spent a lot more time on the 'fun' parts (the exposed robotics). But I know that if you went back over it and worked on the less interesting elements of the piece, spent some time making parts that are stock photo elements and your background work together more seamlessly, this picture would receive a lot more notice and become something truly impressive.
XOXO
