The sixteenth in a series of comics I'm writing. I've learned a lot of things from my year on dA: various memes, styles and terminologies.This week, shota... This is, yet another, Japanese term I have just recently found the meaning of. Now, I can't even begin to express how I felt when I checked that definition. I mean, that can't be legal, can it? I'm fully aware than the age of consent in Japan is thirteen (which I have reservations about) but come on, that's just weird. It rather pertains to the principle of "just because you can, doesn't mean you should." As always, I simply don't see the appeal, but I know that certain people on this site do. And, quite frankly, they can keep it to themselves

Yeah, but you gotta remember something, you're seeing with the eyes of a westerner. Me personally I'll take a grown woman any day. Basically our cultural standards are quite obviously different. I know the age of consent is lower in Japan than it is here in the US, but on the other hand, they're lucky enough not to have the constant Calvinistic mind screw that we have t deal with in America.
