The fifth of a series of comics I'm writing. I've learned a lot of things from my year on dA: various memes, styles and terminologies.
This week, Fandoms! Well, more specifically the anime/manga fandom that seems to hold so much influence over the world. I picked Soul Eater because it strikes me as having a very large fan following, and that I've been seeing it on dA a lot more in recent times.
Yeah, I don't subscribe to these kind of things, and my attitude towards them, while portrayed in the comic as being quite crude, is one of general dismissal. I don't have anything against it, but I haven't read any and I'm not going to. No matter how many computer screens you pull me through or how many colours you dye my hair I'M STILL NOT READING THEM
This comic took me a little while longer to draw than it's predecessors, and do you know why? Because of Crona's bloody hair! AND, before you go shooting off with "Oh, he said Crona's name, he must have read Soul Eater!" I have had a very basic education in what it's about and who the characters are. And yes, I know Crona's a guy (I think), but come on - HE LOOKS GIRLIER THAN SOME GIRLS I'VE SEEN!

So yeah, hope you enjoy this one, guys, and I'll end by just repeating one crucial phrase:
I'M STILL NOT READING THEM. Okay?

Edit: Changed a few things in the comic proper, just to increase coherency. Removal of the giant exclamation mark and replaced with more conventional red... er... stripes? You know. Added "15 minutes later..." caption to explain the sudden jump from Scott to weird anime hermaphrodite. AND added the "I think" to the end panel just to stir things up a little.
