The first of a series of comics I'm (hopefully) writing. I've learned a lot of things from my year on dA: various memes, styles and terminologies.First up, Yaoi! Now to all the people out there who do like Yaoi, I'm not trying to dis it (because you're likely to hunt me down and kill me for such a thing), but I'm merely trying to express my initial shock when I found out what it was. So...yeah, enjoy

because the one guy I have ever had the biggest crush on (and still do) is gay T^T I found out he was gay the hardest way, facebook after he moved away. Everyday I see what he puts on facebook and whatever really cuts me deep. that's why ^^'

Just because some one you like is gay, doesn't mean you should not like everyone who is gay. That's kind of unfair/rude to base everyone off this one person.

I've met a lot of Christians that support gay rights and such. And it's not like people have the choice to be gay, he's a christian that happens to be gay.

It's not his choice. No one has the choice to be gay.
A lot of gays I know are closest gays because they cop so much shit from people.
And you said you don't like real gay couples because you're christian. But you like fake gay couples, even though the only difference between them is a computer screen. That's rather silly.
Someone wrote posted a screenshot of something someone said about gays (I'll try find it again if you like) and they said they were Christian too. A lot of people commented saying that they are Christian and they still believe in gay rights and support them. So just because someone is Christian does not default to not liking gays. Honestly, I don't really think religion should have an affect on what people think about each other just because they like someone else. Why can't they just like who ever without people judging them.

I'm not really judging them. I just kinda think it's wrong and I do believe that bein gay is a choice, but different people have their different oppions and I respect that. Yeah you can send me that thing if you want I'll look it. But just from what I've learned from reading the Bible and learned in Sunday School and from what my pastor has preached about being Gay is sort of a sin or something like that ^^

[link] . Just saying, you shouldn't just go along with everything you read/someone tells you, like what your pastor said. Whether he said it was a choice or not. You shouldn't believe it just because he/she said it. I know in saying that, you don't have to believe me saying that it isn't a choice. Don't take in what others tell you, just think about it. K I'll look at it. And I thought I did answer your question. Oh well. Here is goes. With Yaoi it's all basically fake and animated and it's not in relation to the guy I really like. And I believe I said it before but seeing everything this guy puts on facebook really hurts me bad and sometimes I cry myself to sleep at night it hurts so bad. And besides, another way I see it is that God didn't make humans to become gay. You don't see animals doing it, so what's our excuse? I duno, Yaoi just doesn't scar, or damage my already broken heart and everytime I see or hear about or whatever with gay couples in the real world it makes me think of that guy and then the pain comes back. I'm sorry If I'm confusing you at all but this is a confusing situation and I'm trying to explain this as best as I can.

Even though yaoi is fake, it's still gay. Yet you don't like gays. That just seems a bit wrong to me. If you really like him that much, even if he won't like you back. Just tell him anyway, my friends to that to people they know don't like them, back it makes them feel a bit better that they at least know how they feel. And actually, other animals can be gay. Dolphins can be gay.
You said you don't dislike gays because of this guy that you like. But you say that gay couples remind you of that guy. So you are kind of relating them. Gay really is not a choice, you don't choose who you fall in love with. You don't just go and pick someone and that's it. Gays do not have the choice, it's just a matter of who they fall in love with.

maybe I should tell him how I feel, I'm just terrify ed on what he would say. But I'll try and man up enough to do it, hopefully It'll turn out. And yeah like I said, my situation and the way my mind works can be really confusing for other people but it makes perfect sense for me. And I respect that everyone has a different opinion. To me I believe that being gay and falling love is the a choice of heart, not mind, but that's only gonna make my way of thinking confusing, again. I dunno, you and I think differently on this and I don't mind hearing what you think about it, and I have actually maned up enough to tell you everything how I feel. maybe that is useful:
"Lemon = "Hardcore" or graphic sex
Lime = "Softcore" or less-confronting sex
Yaoi = Stories featuring gay men, and usually includes lots of lemons.
Yuri = Same as above, but for lesbians
Shonen-ai = Features gay men, but usually doesn't have sex. At the most, there are limes.
Shojo-ai = The lesbian equivalent of the above
Fluff = Romantic stories that contain "heart-warming" and "cute" moments.
Het = Heterosexual
Slash = Homosexual
PWP = Porn Without Plot, or "Plot, What Plot?""
