Description
This drawing was based on one of my favorite poems, "Ismalia", by Alphonsus de Guimaraens. It tells the story about a woman who went mad when saw two moons: one at the sky, one at the sea (the reflection). To reach both moons, she throws herself on the sea from a high tower and drawns. As she dies, her soul reaches to the sky (in portuguese "sky" and "heaven" are the same word, "céu") and her body reaches the sea.
