Description

My boy Nikko has not had a proper reference sheet in six years, and that's a bit sad >u<;
Since he recently got a redesign and I'd like to commission some artwork for him in the near

future, I figured it was high time for me to make him a ref sheet!

Personality

Nikko is quiet, reserved, and cautious, a very private individual. Generally he likes to be left alone when he isn't out with friends or working, and he can come off as being stand-offish or rude. However, he is understanding and a good listener to those he is close to, who know better than to assume that he's just a selfish, stuck-up jerk. He avoids conflicts and arguments like the plague, preferring instead to keep his opinions to himself. While he may seem eternally depressed, Nikko finds joy in small pleasures, such as basking in his favorite sunbeams or having a cup of tea or hot cocoa.
He has a lot of trust and commitment issues and prefers to avoid contact with outside people, for the most part. While it may seem like he doesn't care what others think of him, nothing could be further than the truth. In fact, if anything, he cares far too much. The fear of disappointment only adds to his desire to avoid others. He secretly craves emotional connection and physical contact, but it frightens him, and that fear keeps him from pursuing it on his own.

Appearance

General Appearance: Nikko is tall and lanky, with very little by way of extra fat. He is not muscular but he is extremely flexible. His skin is a dark gray-ish color with the exception of his ears and tail, which are black. There are faint leopard markings visible on his tail. His hair is kept long in the back but styled in the front and is also jet black, except for the bleached tips of his hair. He has black claws on all of his digits, and his canines are slightly elongated and sharp, giving them the appearance of 'fangs'. His eyes are gold and the sclera are black. Both of his legs are heavily scarred from his life on the streets. He hates baring his legs to anyone due to these scars.
Clothing: Nikko rarely wears a shirt around the house, but when he goes out, he generally wears t-shirts and/or a hoodie. He can almost always be found wearing his favorite jeans. He does have some pajamas he will wear if someone is over, but generally if he's alone or with Melon, he sleeps in his boxers. For formal occasions, usually ones involving his father's side of the family, Nikko will wear traditional Hanfu garments. When he goes on dates he generally dresses in a simple suit. For swimming, Nikko wears yellow spandex bottoms that cover his legs down to his ankles.
Extra: Nikko sometimes wears his gold cross necklace, which was a gift from the person who rescued him from his kidnapper and raised him.
