A new chapter to Moonless age begins with Quain’tana in the spotlight. The last of nobility resistance has fallen before the multitude of her followers. What’s going to happen to the conquered city?

For a simple single character upper body, that one took me a while to do. And i miscalculated the amount of space i had available horziontaly. Else i’d have made those banners longer as i orginaly wanted.

I love how the pose and the style of the piece evokes a propaganda poster, yet at the same time if you look closer, you can see that she's a bit battle-worn, as opposed to just conveying 'GLORY TO THE SARGHRESS YAY!'. Interesting combination.

Beautiful and epic piece, love how the banners, smoke and Quain'tana's cape wonderfuly mesh together, creating an effect of and explosion, or avalanche, ready to wipe out the old order. Also Quainy looks definetly older, but those may be just scratches on her face. The question lies, if the Wolf Queen has now her city, and heirs, won't the Sarghress just overtime(a few centuries) become the new Sharen? And rulling Chell may be much harder than conquering it, earlier the Sharen were allways seen as responcible for the cities plights, and will now the Sarghress improve it, or just as blamed? As Mel herself told in the prologe to chap 8, now the city has less resources, the poor will be even poorer, much of the buildings were destroyed, so the next few decades will be definitely quite hard for Quain'tana and the Sarghress.

Epic cover, glorious and badass, just like Quainy :3. I look forward to seeing what Quainy will do next considering her desire to return topside & all the drama going on everywhere in the underworld these days (no harm in enjoying the moment before the party poopers start stirring trouble again lol)

Qainy has one of the best breastplates I've seen in this series. No boob holders, just smooth simple curves, nothing for a sword to catch on and tear off
