Scenes of happy hours That the table was plentiful at mealtime Wherever I had passed There were two pairs of footprints in the sand Then the Lord told me In your beautiful past moments To guide your steps I was walking by your side
But my lack of faith Had to appear When the scenes were passing Of the saddest hours of my whole being
Then I complained to the Lord Only his trail remained When I needed it most When I was suffering and crying The Lord abandoned me
