Description
This past year there was an outbreak of Botulism in the wild bird populations at the top end of American Falls Reservoir. The result was the killing of over 10,000 waterbirds. The majority of the species killed were ducks such as mallards and wigeons, but also seagulls. Interestingly there was only one goose that fell victim to the disease (not a Canadian), but sadly 6 otters were killed.
This is a design for the shirt being printed for the people who put in grueling hours cleaning up the carcasses to help prevent the further spread of the disease.
One of the airboats that was used sunk in the shallows when it's bow became submerged in motion.

Awww, super sad. And somehow I can't help but think that nature is continually giving us warnings about what consequences we might face for our runaway success as a species. Life happens. So does the alternative.
